Was there ever any doubt?! Winning 11 out of 12 races, the clean sweep only foiled by a glorious capsize, your 125 National Champions are Ryan Sherburn & Lachlan Putt on “Sid”. Leading the regatta from start to finish, the boys were on point and held off some fierce competition in each race, often with 3-4 boats very hot on their tail.
In consistency, the term was used to its fullest, “Inertia” with Jo & Inga Griffiths-Hunt hailing from Black Rock Yacht Club, claiming honors.
Varied conditions offered each boat a chance to shine in light or gusty winds over the course of the week, and the comradery around the fleet was on display both on and off the shore.
