It was the night of nights for our Centreboard sailors on Friday evening 20 May 2022 with celebrations all round following another successful sailing season.
The evening commenced with recognition of the many volunteers who have given so many hours of their own time so we can all enjoy the sport we love.
All of our training fleet sailors were acknowledged receiving participation medals and certificates followed by the announcement of some special awards, all of which lead up to the presentation of the 2021-22 Season Consistency and Championship winners.  Congratulations to all, we are proud of every single one of you.

We also had some awards for our coaches:

The Most Improved Coach goes to our World Champion under 13 sailor in the Open Bic and now representing SP in the 29er for Leading the Green fleet coaching and being adaptable to coach any level – Well done Jenna Everett

The Extra Mile Coach as the name explains goes to a coach that is continually taking time to put in that extra work for his sailors.  Also a World Champion in the 29er under 17 age group and currently sailing 470’s  – Well Done Axel Fleet

To the Coach of the Season Award that has had a big effect and has been tackling some mindset  development with his sailors – Also World Champion in the U17 Laser – Michael Compton
