It’s time to put on your creative hats and write the best story to promote and glorify your chosen section of the Club.
The Christmas edition of Soundings is under construction and your Publications team has come up with some great feature ideas.
Now the challenge is yours! Section scribes, talk to your members for the latest goss, find out who has done amazing things since your last contribution and ask around for some of the great photos taken by members to back up your literary masterpiece. Organisers and competitors in special events – please make sure to appoint someone in your group to put together a report.
Please do not embed your images into a Word file but send them as separate jpeg attachments. The best size for publication is 1 – 2MB per image – big enough for clear reproduction yet small enough for email. You can also help the editors by using your spellchecker before you send and by printing all boat names in italics – please do not use inverted commas.
Section captains and chairpersons: Would you please make sure that you send Marketing Coordinator, Lenny Fogliani, the name and contact details (phone and email) for your appointed scribe.
