Welcome to our WingFoil program at South of Perth Yacht Club.
Wingfoiling is the fastest growing water sport in the world and one of the cheapest and easiest ways to get into the next exciting phase of sailing in its many forms from Windsurf Foiling, KiteFoiling, Moth and WASP sailing, plus professional Sail GP or modern America’s Cup sailing
In collaboration with Australian Sailing, we have developed a training syllabus to get you foiling safely and progressively.
We have split our introductory course into two sections.
- The beginner course teaches the use of the wing on a SUP or windsurfer, plus tow foiling behind a boat.
- The second intermediate course brings it all together for WingFoiling sessions.
Some may choose to repeat the beginner or intermediate courses to gain more confidence.
After completion of the courses, there is a fun group that continues to support and push each other at the club and we will be offering additional advanced-level sessions covering gybing, tacking, and jumps.
Upcoming Courses
This course is ideally suited to any age with strong surfing or sailing experience, good fitness and balance.
